COLLEGE

MINISTRY

LOVING JESUS AND FINDING OUR IDENTITY IN HIM WITHIN HEALTHY COMMUNITY SO THAT COLLEGE CAMPUSES, CITIES, AND NATIONS WOULD BE TRANSFORMED FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

We want to see college students thrive in their relationship with Jesus in college and step into their purpose and calling as lifelong disciples of Jesus! We believe that starts in healthy community, where deep friendships can flourish, and through practicing the ways of Jesus together so that we learn how to follow him for the rest of our lives!

MINISTRY LEADERS

THE PAULS

Sarah and Stephen Paul met as U of A college students while spending their summers working at Camp War Eagle in Rogers, AR. They got married in 2011 and loved NWA so much that they stuck around and have invested in this community ever since.

They are passionate about seeing people love God and follow Jesus. They believe we can see breakthrough in our everyday rhythms of life by practicing the ways of Jesus.

Sarah has been an elementary teacher since graduating at U of A, and Stephen also taught middle school for several years. God gave them three amazing kids that they could talk about for days: Emerson (11), Micah (8), and Theo (5).

The Pauls love spending time outdoors, soaking up the beauty of the Ozarks. They often gather around a table with great food and listen to the story of God through others' lives. And they enjoy good cups of coffee together, anytime of the day.

THE REAUMES

Parker and McKenzie Reaume moved to Northwest Arkansas to help plant Antioch NWA when the church started in 2019. They got married in August 2021 and have loved continuing to invest in the amazing community found in the church.

They have been serving in the college ministry since August 2023 and have enjoyed seeing God move in the lives of College Students at the University of Arkansas.

Parker is an Engineer at Pratt and Whitney in Springdale. He loves hobbies like woodworking, board games, and anything nerd related. He will be starting his MBA at the UofA in the Fall.

McKenzie worked at the UofA for two years as an Academic Coach in the College of Engineering while getting her Masters in Counseling at the University. She now works part time with her parents ministry Crazy Cool Family and stays home with Alice (1.5 yr old). They are expecting another baby girl in October!

The Reaume's are passionate about discipleship, friendships that are like family, freedom found in Jesus, and creating spaces of connection.

COLLEGE MINISTRY EVENTS:

  • This is an amazing opportunity to get away from the distractions of everyday life and retreat with community. The weekend includes times of worship, teaching, and lots of fun together!

  • Revive is our spring break mission trip where we partner with another Antioch church in the U.S. to minister to their city by sharing the gospel, serving practically, and helping connect people to lasting community. This is an amazing opportunity to practice obeying the Great Commission among other college students and make lifelong friends!

  • We are a church that loves God, loves others, and lives on mission. Every summer we offer opportunities for short-term mission trips (2-3 weeks long) and overseas internships (2-3 months long). These trips are amazing ways to get exposed to God's heart for the nations of the earth, as well as grow closer to your Lifegroup and community!
